APPLICATION

BRAIL MW-1SU / BRAIL MW-3SU Series Single-Core Unsheathed Cables

Strictly compliant with the EN 50264-3-1 standard, the BRAIL MW-1SU/BRAIL MW-3SU series of single-core unsheathed cables are cost-effective power and control cables specifically engineered for the demanding electrical systems of rail vehicles. They are suitable for protective wiring both inside and outside vehicles, particularly in cost-sensitive installations .

This cable series is the ideal choice for wiring control circuits, auxiliary circuits, and main circuits in rolling stock. It reliably serves applications including:

Vehicle wire harness integration

Switchboard/panel connections

Control panel wiring

Driver's console equipment connections

Onboard equipment power transmission

Featuring excellent electrical properties (e.g., voltage rating, current-carrying capacity) and outstanding flame-retardant, low smoke zero halogen (LSZH) characteristics (complying with relevant fire safety standards like EN 45545-2 HL3), the BRAIL MW-1SU/BRAIL MW-3SU cables provide essential assurance for the safe and reliable operation of rail vehicles under demanding conditions. They represent a preferred solution for meeting mandatory rail fire safety regulations such as EN 45545.
